£5,000 in five
Broomleigh has set itself the ambitious target
of raising £5,000 in five days for it's charity of the year
- Demelza House (children's hospice), on Monday, 7 November and
finishing on Friday, 12 November 2004.
The fundraising will start with a balloon release
at Broomleigh's Maple House office on Mason's Hill with Broomleigh's
Chairman, Simon Randall and a representative from Demelza House.
Throughout the week Broomleigh staff will be
staging a programme of events including a fun run, car wash, gardening,
cake sales etc with all the proceeds going to Demelza House.
In the past Broomleigh has raised funds for
local charities including Magpie Dance Company, Bromley Autistic
Trust and St Christopher's Hospice.
"Broomleigh is delighted to be able to support
such a worthwhile charity and we are all getting behind the £5,000
in 5 campaign," said Chief Executive, Neil McCall.
"I have been impressed with the fundraising
ideas that have come from a range of staff and I hope that by Friday
night we will all have cause for celebration as we surpass our £5,000
target," he added.
