Broomleigh continues
to be recognised as an 'Investor in People'
Broomleigh's Investor in People accreditation
has been maintained following a review meeting during February 2005
to assess whether we continue to develop and value all those people
who contribute to our operations.
The assessor found numerous examples of strong
organisational people and development practice during his visit,
including:
People being positively encouraged
to take responsibility for the achievement of team and organisational
aims and objectives.
Managers having the skills and
knowledge they need to support their colleague's learning and development.
People across the organisation
believing that there is a genuine commitment to support learning
and development.
Learning and development being
linked to external qualifications and standards.
People across all functions receiving
appropriate and constructive feedback on their performance and shadowing
and observation in the workplace being actively encouraged.
Neil McCall, Broomleigh's Chief Executive commented,
"This continued recognition by Investors
in People is great news for all of us. As an organisation we are committed
to developing our people and this award endorses that commitment."
