ways to pay
Direct Debit.
Your annual service charges can be paid over ten monthly installments by direct debit payments from your Bank / Building Society. If you wish to pay this way or obtain further details please telephone us on 020 8313 3310 or write to us at Maple House and we will send you a form.
Standing order / Internet Payments
You can set up the transactions directly with your bank/building society. Our details are as follows:

Beneficiary's name: Broomleigh Housing Association.
You will need to quote your Broomleigh account number (quote 11 figure number, omitting the forward slash) as the reference.
Payments can be made using the Broomleigh Payment Card at the following outlets: (see bottom of sheet for details of how to order)
At any Post Office
Cash payments can be made at any Post Office in the British Isles.
At any PayPoint
Cash payments can be made at any outlet (mainly shops and garages) displaying the PayPoint logo.
At Any PayZone
Cash, credit card, debit card and solo card payments can be made at any outlet displaying the PayZone sign.
Over the telephone
Switch, debit or credit cards payments can be made using the AllPay call centre. Telephone: 0870 243 6040 for the 24 hour automated service or 0870 240 2953 during office hours only o r visit the website www.allpayments.net
Cash office
Cash, cheque and postal order payments can be made at either of Bromley Council cash offices at the Civic Centre Bromley or The Walnuts Orpington.
* Broomleigh payment cards for paying your main service charges or/and major works charges can be ordered by telephoning us on 020 8313 3310. You will be sent these within 10 working days of your request. If you require cards for both major works charges and main service charges please inform us when you order the card(s). Each card will show the account number of the account it is for.
Spreading The Costs Of Major Works
The scheme allows you to repay the costs to us over a period of up to four years. The cost of the major works determines the length of time over which the repayments are made. The table below details this.

A variable interest rate at 5.9% (reviewed every six months) is applied monthly on the total amount owing.
The works repayment scheme must be paid monthly by Direct Debit. If a monthly payment is missed the agreement will be immediately cancelled, and the full amount becomes payable.
To qualify for this repayment scheme your annual service charge account (including ground rent) must not be in arrears.

Deferred Payment Scheme
The repayment scheme which can allow costs to be paid over a period up to 10 years. To qualify, a written refusal for at least two personal loans, by other lenders, must be provided. There is also a restriction placed on the registered title of the lease.

There is an 8% rate of interest payable over the length of repayment time.

Equity Release
If you are aged 60 or over, Age Concern can give you independent advice on releasing equity on your property to assist in paying the estimated costs of Major works.

Pension Service
If you are aged 60 or over, you may be entitled to assistance in paying your charges from the Pension Service. The application is means tested at The Pension Service, however if you qualify this could result in some financial support.
